Last week we packed up and headed to the Abbotsford Tulip Festival 2016 with my Mom. This is something that I have always wanted to do but just never made the time for. Now that we are living out here and I am not working I really had no excuse to not make the time.
The day we made our trip day it was a bit overcasted and windy but that did not affect the pure beauty of these colourful tulips. Those who know me know that tulips are my favorite flower so this was a major highlight for me. I have never seen so much colour in one area, I now know why it is being called Colour in the Country.
We had a lovely morning walking through the fields snapping pictures and just basking in the pure beauty of these 10 acres of stunning tulips.
Here are some of the photos from our visit:
This is the last week for the Abbotsford Tulip Festival this year so if this is something on your Spring to-do list I would highly suggest you make your trip in. And remember, you can also place your orders for bulbs for the fall so you can enjoy the beauty in your own backyard next Spring.
